1. Baby Jogger City Tour Double

The City Tour 2 Double stroller is the smallest of the Baby Jogger range. It was designed specifically for travel, and fits through standard doors easily due to its ultra-narrow shape. It's also one the lightest double buggies on the market with a weight of just 14lbs when folded. This makes it ideal to travel with a toddler and newborn because you won't have to exceed the luggage allowances of airlines. It can also be folded into a small travel bag, which means you can put it in the back of your car.

It's easy to fold the Z-shape with one hand. Once you've gotten used to it, it's small and takes only a few minutes. However, our tester discovered the auto lock to be a little confusing. As the handlebar wasn't locked into place when you press it, it hit her legs when she was using it. She also felt the handlebar was a bit on the short side particularly with a large changing bag hanging from it.

This double stroller isn't as lightweight as other travel buggies. It's got a broad array of features and is among the most versatile double strollers available on the market. It's compatible with two carry cots (available separately), has multiple recline positions and an UV 50+ canopy. You can also add a bassinet to one or both seats, and turn it into a travel system.

The four rubber composite wheels are perfect for pavements and urban terrain, but they're not built for off-roading. It's not as easy to drive on public transport, however, because it requires more than one hand on the handlebar. It's also large and will not fit into the standard car boot with the seat in place, but this can be overcome with careful planning. iCandy has included a footmuff, changing bag and car seat adapters in the price so this is an excellent value for new parents.
