Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can be converted from a single to double stroller with the addition of an additional seat or glider board (sold separately). The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is able to be set up to be a triple travel system with the addition of a bench or an infant car seat. It offers 24 configurations in total and is the top-rated stroller. The model is made of Baby Jogger’s soft, breathable and sustainably sourced TENCEL fabrics. They aid in regulating temperature. It features a premium leatherette handlebar and bumper bar, as well as a belly bar. It folds 20% smaller than the leading single-to-double stroller, the UPPAbaby Vista V2 and is also lighter.
It comes with a sunshade of medium size and a handy magnetic peek-a-boo window that is simple to open and close. The telescoping bar is one of the most easily adjustable and is suitable for parents of all heights. The seats recline, and there is a footwell adjuster button to assist you in positioning your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin is spacious with plenty of room, but we would have preferred an easier latch. The bin is easy to open, but the zippers can be frustrating because they have to be removed and put back in place after every use.
The City Select, like its siblings, has single-action breakers that are easy to set up and release by pulling a lever located on the frame side lower than the handlebar. It's sandal and barefoot-friendly and is an improvement over the awkward toe-pinch brake levers that many of the other models use.
This is the only stroller we examined that accepts two infant seats. It's an excellent choice for parents with twins or an infant on the way. It is compatible with most major brands infant car seats using an adapter. We tested it with the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models as well as the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is incompatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It is a great option for families with a car seat and need an appropriate stroller however, you might prefer a convertible stroller that can accommodate an additional car seat in this instance.
