What You Need to Know About Your Nissan Key Fob

Lockout Protection

Lockout protection prevents nuisance lockouts caused due to impedance relay failure. A special module in power control is able to monitor the activity of the impedance relay and then disables the output. This feature is only available on vehicles equipped with the Smart Key system or through the personalization menu on the vehicle.
