What Do You Know About Lamborghini Keys?
Lamborghini Enters the Non-Fungible Token (NFT) Craze
Lamborghini is stepping into the world of non fungible tokens with an idea so far from this planet that it's hard to believe. They have partnered with a yet-unknown artist to create a physical object called the Space Key - that is linked to digital artwork via QR codes.
This partnership is proof that wealthy car buyers still spend money, despite global financial uncertainty. Lamborghini's hybrid model Revuelto is a proof.
It's a non-fungible token
The non-fungible token (NFT) craze has swept the world of gaming but now, even luxury automakers are joining the fun. Lamborghini is a luxury automobile manufacturer, has unveiled its first NFT project comprising five digital artworks centered around space and linked to a physical item called the Space Key. The tokens were made using a piece of carbon fiber composite which was delivered to International Space Station for a joint project in the year 2019.
NFTs are unique digital identifiers stored on a distributed database, known as Blockchain. They can be linked to any digital asset, such as music or images. They are unique, which allows owners to prove the authenticity and rarity of their assets. They can also be programmed and trackable on the internet. Lamborghini has chosen NFT PRO, a white-label NFT specialist to develop its latest project.
Lamborghini will also sell five Space Keys via auction in addition to the artwork centered around space. The NFTs are joined by tangible items that have been found in space, which will boost their value as the trend of NFTs continues to grow. Nike, Samsung and Reddit are already working with NFTs. Twitter has recently added the capability to display their favourite NFTs in their profile images using hexa-shaped frames.
The Space Time Memory NFTs are sold via an auction on the internet, and the price for each is a bit of an unknown at the moment. The company has stated that it will release more information in the coming weeks and days including the name of the artist and his identity behind the Space Key, digital artwork and the auction house.
It's an artwork
Lamborghini is combining its love of art and technology of the future to create an un-fungible token (NFT) collection that's completely out of the norm. Lamborghini has joined forces with Swiss artist Fabian Oefner in order to create a series of digital art pieces that connect to physical objects, dubbed "Space Key". Each NFT is comprised of more than 600 million pixels. when you zoom in, hidden details are revealed, including the firing sequence of the V12 engines or the different milling patterns of transmission cog wheels.
The Space Key's physical component is a piece made of carbon fiber composite. It was sent to International Space Station in 2019 for research purposes. It's cut into five physical items called "space keys" and is linked to the digital artworks via a QR code printed on the back. The digital artwork is the creation of the renowned artist Fabian Oefner, and it shows a Lamborghini Ultimae floating above a photograph of Earth.
The first auction of the artwork with a space theme will take place on February 1, the beginning of the Lunar New Year, and it will last for 75 hours and 50 minutes - which is the same amount of time it took Apollo 11 to leave Earth and enter the moon's orbit. Details on the auction and the artwork will be announced in the coming weeks. The artwork is an exploded view made from thousands of photos of the Aventador.
It's a carbon fiber 3D-printed
Lamborghini has long been using 3D printing in their cars and now they're taking it an step further with the announcement of their latest NFT project. This is the first time using the technology to create an unfungible token (NFT). The NFTs have a QR code linked to a digital piece of exclusive artwork. They are made from carbon fiber from space. These NFTs are limited to 5 and will be auctioned off.
The new NFTs are based on a piece advanced carbon fiber composite that was shipped to the International Space Station as part of a 2019 research project. After passing all relevant tests, the carbon fiber returned to Earth and became a crucial element of the Space Key NFT project. The carbon fiber QR codes on the back of each Space Key link it to a piece digital art created by an unknown artist.
NFTs is the newest virtual currency that makes use of blockchain technology to track assets and prove ownership on the internet. They offer many advantages such as the ability to program, a limited supply, and an identifier that is unique. This makes them an ideal solution for selling and purchase of valuable objects like art or cars.
The company hasn't revealed much information about the NFTs and is keeping it under wraps to create excitement and buzz among its fans. Lamborghini is already known for its extravagance. The new NFTs are sure to draw attention and will increase prices. Lamborghini's vehicles come with a an excellent warranty despite their costly price. My Page is a prime example. It is covered for three years with unlimited miles for powertrain and bumper-to-bumper warranties.
It's limited edition
Lamborghini has introduced its unique style of luxury to the skies with a brand-new non-fungible token (NFT) known as the Space Key. It was created in collaboration with an unidentified artist and is limited to five pieces. Each space key comes with a QR code that unlocks an exclusive digital artwork NFT created by the artist who is not known. The artwork consists of five photos that show an Aventador Ultimae bursting into the sky against the backdrop of Earth's horizon.
The physical part of the NFT, the "Space Key," is constructed of carbon fiber pieces that Lamborghini delivered to the International Space Station as part of a research project in 2019. Each piece is engraved with the QR code that enables an original digital art work. It's a non-transferable item that cannot be duplicated or sold to another user.
NFTs are cryptographic assets that are stored in an open database. This allows them to be authenticated and secure through the internet. They are used for a variety of reasons, from authenticating ownership of a particular object to track the movement of assets. They can also be used to design games and collectibles.
The first Lamborghini Space Key Auction will be held on February 1 and will last for 75 hours and fifty minutes, the same amount of time that Apollo 11 took to leave Earth and enter the orbit of the moon. The auction will take place on NFT PRO an online platform for purchasing and trading NFTs.
