A Lightweight Double Buggy For Families With Twins Or Closer Together
A double buggy is a great option when you have twins or two children of similar ages. They offer more seating configurations and are typically wider than single strollers.
They don't need to be bulky or heavy. Some come with narrow designs and fold flat to make it easier to squeeze into tight places or to climb to move up and down stairs.
Leclerc Influencer
This compact stroller weighs only 6.6 kg and has an auto-folding mechanism that can be operated in a matter of seconds. It can be used from birth using the optional bassinet (sold separately), and is cabin-approved to be used in overhead bins when flying - although it's always best to inquire with your airline as regulations do vary. Jane the mother of two who is our tester, says the Influencer Air is extremely easy to push and provides excellent stability. She also likes that the sun canopy is adjustable providing adequate coverage for taller children and the stroller comes with an integrated cup holder for travel. You can also purchase extra accessories like an opaque rain cover and an Teddy Footmuff, which combines a warm teddy-sherpa lining to a water-resistant outer fabric in colder weather.
The Leclerc Baby Influencer XL blows the competition out of the water with its eye-catching design, stunning colors and beautifully constructed frame and fabric materials. Its one-touch, super-fast folding mechanism allows it to be folded and unfurled in only 1.5 seconds. This makes it ideal for everyday use as well as long-distance trips. It comes with an easy-to-use travel bag, whether you're packing it for the car, on the train or in the overhead compartment of your plane when you jet off on holiday.
iCandy Orange
The iCandy Orange is a great choice for parents with a budget who want a compact buggy that comes with a wide range of nifty features. These include an ingenious integrated ride-on board, a super spacious basket and car seat adapters. It can also be configured into a tandem with the risers available.
It feels easy to push, with a good turning circle and a soft suspension that bounces gently over bumps. It's also easy to manoeuvre even with a child in the seat over the front wheels. It's a little tougher to get over large curbs since the weight shifts forward when used in double mode, however this is the case with most twin buggies.
The back wheels have been made smaller in this 2021 update which makes it easier to maneuver through tight spaces such as doorways and shops and on public transport. However, they still feel sturdy and robust with tyre treads that performed well on grass and a muddy road. It's easy to fold, too - just open a clip in the vicinity of the rear wheels and pull two levers at the handle. It's self-standing when folded, too. There's also a sun screen for the seat and carrycot that can be put on in a matter of seconds.
Joie Evalite Duo
The Joie Evalite Duo was designed to make travel for two people as simple as it can be. It weighs in at just 10kg, making it one of the most lightweight twin strollers on the market, and it's super easy to drive, ride, load and lift. The stroller folds down flat using just one hand, and it can be set up on its own when not in use. It also works with Joie's Gemm and iSnug baby seats (car seats are sold separately) to create an entire travel system.
The only downside is that the rear seat does not fully recline however, it's not a major issue for an otherwise great double buggy. Another disadvantage is that you aren't able to add an extra buggy, but that's not uncommon in side-by-side designs.
Overall all, the Evalite buggy is a stunning buggy that can be improved upon with just a few adjustments. The seats are comfortable for children of any age and it is easy to drive. The handle is cushioned so it's easier to grip and the wheels are equipped with suspension to provide a smooth ride. It's also extremely durable and offers a good amount of storage space, particularly when you attach the shopping basket. It's also a stylish stroller, with a variety of eye-catching colours.

It comes with a great canopy that offers plenty of coverage and is easy to adjust to different heights of heads. It's a bit higher than the majority of its rivals, so it may not be suitable for parents with shorter strides, but is still a good choice for those with more strides. The front wheels can be used to lock or pivot, which is ideal for steering over rough terrain.
The only drawback to this stroller is that it does not fold as compactly as some of the other models in our guide. It is only able to fold with the second seat removed, which can be a problem if want to store it into your car or in a closet. It has one of the largest storage bins in our ranking, which means it's an excellent choice for those who are seeking a light double-stroller for their family.

The new City Mini GT2 is similar to the original, however it is made of softer and more smooth material. It features a comfortable handlebar that is much better and is easier to move. The canopy extends further, providing real shade and a peekaboo. One of the best features is that it folds by one hand. This is a fantastic feature for busy parents who have to swiftly adjust their stroller when they're traveling.
Graco SnugRide SnugLock
The Graco SnugRide SnugLock is a rear facing only infant car seat that includes an base. It features a SnugLock arm, which functions as an enormous clamp that holds the seatbelt. The arm requires only a little force to close and can easily be closed with one hand. It is particularly suitable for grandparents or parents with arthritis or weak physical strength. It's also a great option for those who do not want to use LATCH and prefer seatbelts.
This model has a wide variety of features for users including a non-rethread harness and silent canopy. It can also be converted to a highchair and features a single-handed handle adjustment. The SnugRide SnugLock DLX is narrow width of 17 inches and is therefore a good option for vehicles with three rows. It also comes with a load leg that limits rotation and absorbs crash forces.
The FAA has granted it approval for both international and domestic travel. It can be used without the base using standard belt routing or European routing (the seatbelt must be routed through the lap section and not through the shoulder section). It is also possible to install the carrier inside the vehicle seat using a lockoff or lower anchors.
