Roasting

As a light roast, Lazy Sunday is a light roast that is easy on the palate and mellows into a warm hug for your senses. The cocoa from Latin America is used to smooth the brew while Africa provides citrus notes to balance. The result is a coffee that is delicious on its own or with cake, milk chocolate and other sweets. It would complement vanilla cakes with lemon drizzle and lemon sponges.

We recommend the French Press method to brew this coffee. Preheating your vessel by adding some water that is just boiling will keep it warm. After the coffee is brewed, allow it to sit for four minutes, this will ensure that the grounds are fully saturated and not over extracted. The water is then moved through the grounds using the plunger, do not stir or stir the coffee, as this could cause unpleasant elements to enter your cup.

Strength - 3 is a little softer and easygoing, ideal for relaxing weekends.

Storage

Lazy Sunday is an aromatic light roast that has the sweet cocoa and citrus aroma. It has a smooth and supple mouthfeel. The cocoa hints can be traced back to a winter's afternoon spent on the couch with an enjoyable book and a hug from the family. Pre-heat your French Press by using water that isn't yet at boiling point. This is recommended to prevent the coffee from absorbing too much and forming undesirable elements in your drink. Add your grounds and 250ml of water that has just boiled. Then, after four minutes, you can take a plunge, and enjoy.
