Installing them yourself is in ten minutes. You'll need an screwdriver and some time. The first step is to remove the old cover from your key. It must be removed before the new cover can be fitted.

After removing the cover, you can employ a flathead to remove the four main attachment clips from the passenger side of fob assembly. They are marked with red in the image below. Also note the locating tab slots in yellow that require disengagement also.

After removing the battery replace it with a new 3 volt coin cell battery. Make sure that the "+" positive side of the battery is aligned to the opening of the fob and that the -" negative side is facing the buttons made of rubber.

Re-attach the passenger side mirror cover by aligning the tabs that locate it. After you've done this take the fob for the driver's side back in your car and test it. Press the push button located at the top of the key. If everything works correctly, your car should activate the parking lights and the doors will lock automatically.
