Methods of Assessment for Adult ADHD

There are many methods of assessing adults who have ADHD. Some of these methods include the MMPI-2-RF testing, the NAT EEG test, and the Wender Utah Rating Scale. Each test can be utilized in a different manner to assess ADHD symptoms.

MMPI-2-RF

The Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2-Restructured Form (MMPI-2-RF) is a test that assesses adult ADHD symptoms. It is a test that can be used in a variety of settings, such as hospitals, correctional facilities and psychopathology clinics.

While test for validity of symptoms can be helpful in assessing the validity and reliability of the MMPI-2RF several studies have demonstrated that they don't provide sufficient accuracy for determining. Many studies have revealed that the connection between ADHD symptoms and ACI is small.
