Roasting
As a light roast Lazy Sunday is a light roast that is easy on the palate and softens into a warm embrace for your senses. The cocoa influences from Latin America smooth the brew whilst Africa brings citrus hints to balance. The result is a cup that is delicious by itself or with cakes, milk chocolate or other sweets. It would also compliment lemon drizzle cakes or vanilla sponges very well.
We recommend the French Press method to brew this coffee. Heating your vessel by adding water that has just been boiled will keep it warm. After brewing, let the coffee infuse for 4 minutes. This ensures that all the grounds have been fully saturated and not over-extracted. 1kg of coffee beans must be pushed through using the plunger. Do not stir or agitate your coffee as it can result in unpleasant odors appearing in your cup.
Strength - 3, soft and easy to follow, perfect for weekend relaxing.
Stores
Lazy Sunday is a smoky light roast that has a sweet scent of cocoa and citrus. It has a smooth and supple mouthfeel. The cocoa-like notes can be traced back to a winters day sat on the sofa with an enjoyable book and a warm hug from the family. To brew the coffee, first heat up your French Press with off boil water. This is recommended to stop the coffee from absorbing too much and forming unwanted elements in your drink. Add the grounds, and 250ml of water that is off the boil. Steep for four minutes, take a plunge, and then enjoy.
