After removing the cover You can then employ a flathead to remove the four main attachment clips out of the passenger side of fob assembly. These are marked with red in the image below. Take note of the yellow tabs, which must be disconnected.
Replace the old battery with a # CR2032 coin cell battery. Make sure that the "+" positive side of the battery is aligned to the opening on the fob, and that the -" negative side is facing toward the buttons made of rubber.
Reattach the passenger side mirror cover by aligning the locating tabs. Once you've completed this, insert the fob that is on the driver's side back in your vehicle and test it by pressing the push button on the front of the car key. If everything is working correctly the parking lights will be on and the doors will automatically lock.
