If you're pressed pause during a hectic weekday or winding down on the weekend, a little portion of this gentle roast will go a long ways to relax your body and mind.

Roasting

Lazy Sunday is an easy roast that is pleasant to drink. It mellows, and turns into an opulent hug to your senses. The cocoa influences from Latin America smooth the brew while Africa adds citrus notes to add the balance. The result is a coffee which can be enjoyed on its own or paired with cakes, milk chocolate or other sweets. It can also be paired with lemon drizzle cakes or simple vanilla sponges very well.

When brewing this coffee we recommend using the French Press method, preheating your vessel by adding some off the boil water to ensure that it stays warm and ready for brewing. After making the coffee, let it sit for 4 minutes. This will ensure that all the grounds are fully saturated and not over-extracted. The water should be forced through the grounds by the plunger, but do not stir or agitate the coffee, as this could result in unpleasant components in your cup.

Lazy Sunday is an aromatic light roast that has a sweet cocoa and citrus aroma. It has a soft and supple mouthfeel. The cocoa-like hints can be traced to the days of winter sitting on the sofa reading a book and the warmth of a hug from the family. To brew your coffee, first pre heat your French Press with off boil water. This is recommended to stop the coffee from absorbing too much and creating unwanted elements in your drink. Add your grounds along with 250ml of water that has just been boiled. Steep for 4 minutes, plunge and enjoy.
