14 Cartoons About Counter Strike New To Brighten Your Day
Counter Strike New Revealed
Valve finally announced Counter Strike New after weeks of rumors. It's a major upgrade to CS:GO which will put it on the Source 2 engine.
It also introduces responsive smoke grenades as well as sub-tick updates for servers. It has got a lot of gamers who are a bit naive but it looks like an incredible upgrade for the regular player.
Smokes
Counter Strike New is getting a major update that will completely alter the way smokes are used in the game. The new changes are being referred to as responsive smokes and will be a significant game changer. Smokes will now expand to fill in spaces naturally and move around objects on the map. They will also respond to the lighting in the game, which will make them appear more attractive and realistic. Smokes will also be able to interact with game events. This will open up new opportunities for tactical play. Bullets, for example, will push smoke in order to temporarily clear the sightlines. Hex grenade blasts will also disperse smoke occlusion.
The most significant change in smokes is that they will become a more active part of the game. In the past, smokes were a fixed form that was limited in how far they could go and the amount of vision it blocked. The new smokes will fill the space where they are located and make it harder for players to see vision when they are there. This is a major change that will make the game more exciting and will give both sides the same view.
In addition smokes are now able to react to the surroundings as well as weaponry and lighting in the world space. This makes smoke more realistic and offer players to use it to gain an edge over their opponents. This is particularly useful in the chaotic 5v5 matches that are sure to happen on every map.
Smokes are no longer a one-way. This was a major issue in CSGO, as it allowed players to see the location of their opponent behind the smoke. Twistzz is a well-known CS:GO professional who says the new system will make CS2 more fair for both teams.
Other minor enhancements include moving smoke particles vertically to minimize the visible edges, and updating viewers' smoke overlays to ensure that they match their camera's position. The expiration of smokes was changed to be in line with the visuals on the screen.
Loadouts
The players of CS:GO are able to alter their weapon choices prior to the start of every game. The new loadout system lets the players to choose weapons that suit their playstyles and team's strategy. The updated system also adds new tactical depth to the game, since players must be able to balance firepower and utility.
The CS: GO Update includes a number other enhancements and changes in addition to the new loadouts. The buy menu was completely revamped. The old buy wheel has been replaced by an adjustable grid that shows all purchase options simultaneously. The grid is comprised of five pistols and five "mid-tier weapons" such a submachine guns, shotguns and rifles.
The new system will be easy to use and will give players more control over their weapon choice. It will let them select the weapon that best suits their style of play and team strategy the best, aswell to experiment with various combinations. They can also compare their loadouts to other players and see how they stack up.
While many players are pleased with the flexibility it offers, some have criticized it for deviating from the fundamental premise of Counter-Strike. They also expressed concern over how it could affect agents' skins and loadouts specific to the map based upon visibility.
Despite these criticisms, the new loadout system will be tested more extensively in the coming months. Some of these issues could be addressed in future updates. It is important to stay informed for more information.
Workshop Tools are included in the update and can be enabled via the settings menu. This allows community members to create weapons finishes and stickers, as also maps. In addition the update will live ban players who violate the rules of VAC during matches.
The latest CS: GO update is expected to launch later in the summer. Players can now look over the full list of features and upgrades by visiting the official CS: GO site.
Sub-Tick Updates
The world of Counter-Strike is updated by the server in discrete time increments called ticks. The tiniest delay between a tick's time and the mouse click of a player may influence the accuracy of a shot, and Valve is working to make sure that CS: GO is responsive and smooth. A new video highlights the most significant improvements to the game, which is also known as sub tick updates.
Instead of a 64-tick-update every millisecond CS:GO can now use sub-ticks or, as Valve calls them, "micro ticks", to communicate with servers. The client will record each of these tiny increments and transmit them to the server. The server will then transmit the updated game state back to players. The servers will know exactly the moment you fired a shot or jumped or peeked.
Although a minute-long video may not enough to fully explain everything the video explains that every piece of information sent by a client has an associated timestamp, and that the server will collect all the data from all players in chronological order before sending it back. According to the video it is believed that a CS: GO server will now be able to send more than twice the data as a 64-tick server.
This means that even if the game's tick rate increases to 128 Hz, it will still be able to handle your commands immediately and consistently. Micro-tick updates also decrease input lag, ensuring that the server responds to your actions without glitches or delays.
Valve's technical improvements to the game are just the beginning. Valve is currently implementing dynamic smoke and particle systems to improve the way smoke interacts with the surrounding and is also upgrading all of the maps with high-resolution textures, lighting, and models. Source 2 tools and features will be used to update all CS Cosmetics and weapons.
Maps
The next update for Counter Strike New brings new maps as well as some classics with facelifts. The updates are currently being tested as part of a limited test beta. The first set of maps include upgrade and touchstone maps that will not see major changes to gameplay, whereas others have been completely revamped or rebuilt using the latest Source 2 tools.
Overpass is one of these maps that has been modified to benefit from the new engine's unified lighting system. The underpass of the map is now flooded with daylight, making the space more spacious and less crowded. Smoke grenades are now expanding dynamically in order to fill spaces, and interact with light.
Italy is a second map that has been overhauled. Its lighting, texture, and structure have all been significantly improved. The new version is more balanced than the predecessor which was heavily CT-oriented. In the future, fans can anticipate seeing classics like Aztec and Militia redesigned.
cs2 cases won't be added to the map pool for competitive play despite the fact that they are still playable. The exception is Train which was pulled out of Active Duty and will continue to be played in tournaments. Valve hasn't confirmed yet if the other maps that were taken will be added back to the pool.
One of the more controversial updates is one designed by Helsingin Sanomat, Finland's national newspaper. The news agency has been a vocal critic of Russia's actions in Ukraine and the map draws inspiration from the city that was devastated by war in Donetsk. The map is titled de_voyna and features a number of references to the conflict.
The developer will release a set Source 2 Tools for map makers in the future. This will include features such as improved lighting and reading of characters, as well as physical-based rendering systems that produces realistic materials and textures. It will also allow for easier implementation of real-world objects, like windows and doors. The update will be released sometime in the summer.
