It also does well in our cooling tests, although we're not a fan of its gimmicky polygon handles and the bins with a crisper design are a bit flimsy.

Bespoke is one of the features that makes the RF23M8090SG stand out. It allows you to personalize your refrigerator using removable colored panels. There are 11 colors with pastels through more vibrant shades. There are also four metallic finishes. Some of these panels can be personalized with photos or text which makes the fridge a personal touch point that can match your tie-dye Crocs, Rick Owens dress or Andy Warhol banana neon sign.

You can even change the color of the fridge's LED lighting, which is pretty. The interior of the refrigerator has a smart finish which reduces the chance of smudges, and also makes cleaning easier. The only real drawbacks of the RF23M8090SG are its crowded beverage center, and a little learning curve to open the door-indoor feature, which houses a water dispenser and an ice maker. You need to feel for the lever located on the underside of the door about halfway down. When you locate it the second door opens up within the fridge, containing the pitcher docking station and the water dispenser.

Even if it's not an energy-efficient model, it doesn't have the same price tag the same amount as our top-rated models do.
