The app, available for iOS and Android devices can let you control your fridge from anywhere in world, and has a ton of customization options. It will also send notifications when the door is left unlocked and when the fridge or freezer requires defrosting, and when the filter needs to be changed.

It would be nice if GE PYE22PYNFS had Precise Fill it's an option in a few other GE fridges that allow you to set the number of cups of water you'd like to disperse at a time. The fridge displays a countdown to display how much water is left however it's not as effective as Precise fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The Bosch French-door Refrigerator is an impressive product. It's designed to look like it's a seamless component of your kitchen. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The LG LRFLC2706S is a great counter-depth refrigerator that packs plenty of storage into the frame's compact size. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. The fridge features the standard French door layout, with two rows of shelving with spill-capture and a set of crisper drawers. The top shelf on the right can be folded to provide more space for tall items. There's also a full-width storage drawer for deli items and an internal water dispenser.

One of the great features of this refrigerator is that the Ice maker is located in the freezer, making it easy to transfer ice into the fridge to be used when it is required. The freezer is designed with thoughtful elements, too, like sliding drawers that help better organize the position of items. It also has a large container for storing frozen food and a separate container for ice.

Another great feature of this refrigerator is its Smart InstaView panel. You can control the temperature, lighting and other aspects of your refrigerator from your smartphone. It's an easy way to monitor your fridge and manage it, especially when not at home.

The Smart InstaView feature is neat, but it doesn't necessarily improve the performance of the fridge. The fridge took a bit longer to defrost food and chill it than other models we tested. This could be due to the larger capacity.

The other issue we have with this refrigerator is its doors. They have sunken handles on the front that allow smaller people to pull them open from the bottom, however they're still difficult for taller people to steer shut without slamming them. It would have been better if these had front-mounted handles.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is an excellent choice for those looking to blend the aesthetics of a French-door refrigerator with more efficient design. It has a capacity that is above average for counter-depth models and is able to cool evenly. It's also a bit cheaper than the most expensive counter depth refrigerator with an ice maker, making it a great choice.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

If you're looking for an French door refrigerator that won't break the bank, this Frigidaire is a solid option. It's a basic fridge that may not be as attractive like some of its competitors however, it does have enough features to make a good option. Its most notable feature is the adjustable temperature drawer helps to keep food items like vegetables and meat fresher for longer. It also has a large ice maker as well as a water dispenser.

The "Chill Drawer", which is located over the two crisper bins, is a nice feature. This drawer lets you use some of the fridge's cooling power into this area so that you can store foods that require extra attention. This feature can be adjusted by using a slider on the outside of the drawer. You can also use this to set a general cooling level for the whole fridge, but I've noticed that adjusting the general settings tends to be more effective than specific ones.
