Why You Should Concentrate On Improving Cheap Single Pushchair
Cheap Single Pushchairs

The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a excellent choice if you're on a budget and don't need an extra stroller that can be used as car seat carrier. It features a flip-flop-friendly one-step footbrake.

It's also a breeze to push and feels solid when navigating kerbs or woodland pathways. It's also a breeze to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has built a reputation as the most lightweight buggy for city dwellers and jet-setters alike, thanks to its extremely nimble handling and fold that fits in the overhead luggage of an aeroplane. The latest version comes with independent suspension on all four wheels that is made of Hytrel Elastomer, which allows it to effortlessly navigate through all kinds of surfaces and terrain'.

The YOYO2 frame base with a curved fabric bassinet as well as a six-month colour pack come together to create a stylish pushchair that's easy on the eye with a subtle yet elegant design and stylish branding. The base frame alone weighs less than a kilo and is so light you can easily lift it from the box (and do so one-handed).

It's also simple to add or remove adaptors or attachments like the hood for instance, snaps on to the YOYO2 using reassuring clicks - as well as being machine washable at 30 degrees to prevent staining from rice cakes that have been smashed and half-dissolved carrot puffs. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as a pram. It can also be transformed into a stroller at 6 months using the YOYO connect additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is a great option for parents looking for a versatile stroller. The Evenflo Xplore can be converted from a stroller to a wagon by simply flipping the handle. Parents can then select which mode is best for their journey. The wagon can fit two or more children between 6 months to 5 years old. It has a large storage basket that can accommodate everything you need when you are on the move.

The Xplore has dual canopies which are able to rotate from front to back, ensuring adequate sun protection for all family members. It also has a footwell that's not as deep or large as other wagons, so it may not be ideal for long-distance excursions or for napping.

The frame of the Xplore feels solid and sturdy but it doesn't have the same flexibility as other wagons we tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold and it's not able to lock tight after folding. It is easy to maneuver however, and is able to fit through narrow 28 inches doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents who are looking for a secondary stroller that's affordable. It scored high in our Strollers and Multiples Test for its weight and folded dimensions. This means it's lightweight, compact when folded, and easy to carry and put in a trunk of a car. It also has the option of reclining in multiple positions and an adult cup holder. Other important features include two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling and 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels.

It performed better in our push and turn test than most of the other strollers we tested, but was nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven ground or through narrow doors. Its sunshades are among the most compact we tested, with only a direct overhead coverage and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have much larger canopies.

It took us just under 3 minutes to assemble the Delta with a standard manual. All of the components required tools. But, it's lacking some essential features that we think you should not compromise on in a double stroller such as an extra-large basket, and reclining seats with adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is the most recent addition to Maxi-Cosi's pushchair range and is billed as an urban travel system. It is designed to accommodate babies from birth to around 3.5 years, converting easily between a carrycot and seat in just only a few clicks. It can also be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats and comes complete with the light Mico 30 infant car seat, a stay-in-car base and a reversible carriage.

It's a breeze to manoeuvre and the one-hand reclining of the seat and the super large shopping basket make it easy for parents to get their child in and out of the seat quickly. This compact pushchair can handle all day bumps and doorways effortlessly.

The front wheels can to be locked in a forward-facing position, or they can swivel. This is helpful when navigating rough terrain. We let the front wheels to swivel on our walk along the stony path. It handled this reasonably well, although it seemed a little more bumpy.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is most well-known for its three-wheeled, all-terrain strollers for jogging. But they also make a broad variety of pushchairs that have four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most sought-after models. It is simple to fold and can fit into the trunk of a car even with the carrycot attached.

It weighs more than other strollers we test, but since it has rubber composite wheels it feels sturdy and well-constructed. It is easy to maneuver across different terrains, and even with two kids with shopping bags and other items.

The carrycot and seat both have hoods that can be pulled down to reveal UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are durable and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams that can be blown back onto toddlers faces.

It's not a lot of storage space, but it does come with a huge basket that's large enough to fit a changing bag as well as plenty of food items. You can also use it with the Baby Jogger car seat for infants who weigh 20 pounds or less (car seat and adapters are available separately). If you require a stroller that can be taken on the road, the City Tour 2 is an excellent option.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first rolled onto the scene it stole the hearts of parents all over the world. It's a stroller made of aluminum that can be used from the infant's earliest days through. It has many standout features, including the capacity of the seat to flip between the parent and the world, a large UPF50+ canopy with an eye shade that flips out, and an adjustable handlebar.

The wheels are tough and foam-filled which minimises punctures. The chassis also has built-in suspension that eases the pain of rough terrain. It was simple to push and our test driver was able manoeuvre the vehicle through the narrow streets.

It folds automatically and locks in just four steps. It can also be rolled and repositioned for easy transportation down the stairs or in the boot of the car. The travel system is also included with the option of adding an additional car seat or carrycot by using the adaptors that are included. The brakes are simple to use with single action color coded and flip-flop compatible.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget pushchair is simple to use and comes with a great dual suspension. It folds with one hand and comes with a convenient carrying strap. It's also light and sturdy. The seat is reclined in various positions. It also comes with a built-in double breathable mattress that's suitable for babies from birth.

The canopy/seat has two large sun visors, which can be fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn’t ideal because it's not as quiet as Velcro, and can awaken napping babies.

The Duet is a side-by-side stroller and can be set up to accommodate twins or siblings (up to 22kg maximum per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seat and some carrycots. In twin-mode, the seats can face each other or can turn around and face their parents, potentially decreasing sibling disputes over who should sit with mom and dad.
