10 Reasons That People Are Hateful To Counter Strike New Counter Strike New
Counter Strike New Revealed

Valve finally announced Counter Strike New after weeks of rumors. It's a major update to CS:GO which will bring it onto the Source 2 engine.

It also brings sub-tick server update and smoking grenades that are responsive. It's got plenty of casual gamers going wild but it is an enormous improvement for the average player.

Smokes

Counter Strike New has a huge update that will change the way smokes function in the game. These changes are being dubbed as responsive smokes and will be a major game changer. Smokes will expand to fill spaces and move around the map to move around objects. They will also respond to the lighting of the game, which will make them appear more attractive and realistic. In addition to these new features, smokes will now be capable of interacting with game events and will offer new tactical opportunities. Bullets, for instance, will push smoke to temporarily clear the sightlines. Hex grenade blasts can also disperse smoke occlusion.

Smokes are now more dynamic in the game. Smokes in previous versions were a fixed form that was limited in the distance they could go and how much vision they blocked. Smokes of the new design will fill the space where they are placed and make it harder for players to see vision when they are present. This is a significant change that will make the game more exciting and give both teams the same view.

In addition smokes will also react to the surroundings as well as weaponry and lighting in the world. This makes smoke more realistic and offer players different ways to use it to gain an edge over their opponents. This will be especially useful in the chaotic matches that are expected to occur on every map.

Smokes won't be one-way that was a major issue in CS:GO, and allowed players to view their opponents' positions from behind the smoke. Twistzz is a well-known CS:GO professional, says the new system is an enormous improvement for competitive CS2 and will make it more fair for both teams.

Other minor changes include adjusting the vertical position of smoke particles to prevent seeing through edges and updating spectators' smoke overlay images to reflect their camera's position. The expiration of smokes was updated to match the visuals displayed on screen.

Loadouts

Players of CSGO can now customize their weapon choice before the start of every match. The new loadout system lets players to choose weapons that fit their style of play and team strategies. The new system also adds new tactical depth to the game, because players must balance power and utility.

The CS: GO Update includes a number other improvements and changes in addition to the new loadouts. The buy menu was completely revamped. Clash was replaced with a customizable grid which shows all options for purchase simultaneously. The grid is populated with five pistols, five "mid-tier" weapons such as submachine guns and shotguns as well as five rifles and carbines.

The new system is easy to use and will give players greater control over their weapon selection. It will allow them to choose the weapons that suit their style of play and team tactics the best, as well to experiment with various combinations. They can also compare their loadouts with other players and observe how well they stack up.

Many players have praised the flexibility, while others have criticized it for straying from the essence of Counter-Strike. They also expressed concern over how it would impact agents' skins and loadouts specific to the map based upon visibility.

In spite of these criticisms the new loadout system will be tested in greater detail in the coming months. Some of these issues might be addressed in future updates. It is important to stay informed for more details.

Workshop Tools are included in the update and can be turned on from the settings menu. This lets community contributors design weapons finishes and stickers, as and maps. In addition, the update will now live ban players who violate the VAC rules during games.

The latest CS GO update is scheduled to be released in the middle of summer. Players can check out the full list of features and updates by visiting the official CS: GO website.

Sub-Tick Updates

The server updates the world of Counter-Strike in small intervals of time, referred to as ticks. The smallest delay between a tick's time and the mouse click of a player can affect a shot's accuracy, so Valve is working hard to make sure that CS: GO feels fluid and responsive. A new video highlights the most significant improvements to the game, also known as sub tick updates.

Instead of an update of 64 ticks every millisecond, CS: GO will now be able use sub-ticks (or as Valve calls them, "micro-ticks") to communicate with the server. Each of these tiny intervals of time will be recorded by the client and sent to the server, which will then send back the updated game state to players. The servers will be able to tell when you shot or jumped, or swung, or pounced.

While a minute-long video is not enough to fully explain everything the video explains each piece of information sent by clients has a time stamp. The server will gather all the information from all players in chronological order before sending it back. According to the video it is believed that a CS: GO server will now be able to send more than twice the data as a 64-tick server.

That means that when the game's tick rate goes up to 128 Hz, it will still be able to process your commands instantly and continuously. And it's not only about increasing the tick rate, also, micro-tick updates can reduce latency and input lag by guaranteeing that the server is responding to your actions with no delays or glitches.

Valve's technological improvements to the game are just the beginning. The company is working on dynamic smoke and particle systems to improve the way smoke interacts with the environment, and it's updating all maps with high-resolution textures, lighting and models. All CS: GO weapons and cosmetics will also get a makeover using Source 2 tools and features.

Maps

The new update coming to Counter Strike New will bring new maps to the game as well as a few classics that are getting facelifts. These updates are being tested in limited beta. The first set includes an upgrade and touchstone maps that will not see major changes to gameplay, whereas other maps have been rebuilt or overhauled with the help of the new Source 2 Tools.

Of these, Overpass has been reworked to take advantage of the new engine's unified lighting system. The underpass on the map's dark and eerie scene has been flooded with daylight and makes the area spacious and less congested. Smoke grenades have expanded dynamically to fill in spaces, and interact with the light.

Italy is another map that has been revamped. Its lighting, texture and structure have all been greatly improved. The new version is also more balanced than its predecessor, which was heavily CT-sided. In the future fans can expect to see classics like Aztec and Militia updated.

While many of these maps are still available in other modes, they're no longer added to the map pool for competitive play. Train is the exception since it was removed from Active Duty but will still be played in tournaments. Valve hasn't yet confirmed if the other maps removed from the pool will be added back.

One of the more controversial updates is one that was created by Helsingin Sanomat, Finland's national newspaper. The news agency has been vocal in its criticism of Russia's actions in Ukraine and the map takes inspiration from the city that was devastated by war in Donetsk. The map is called de_voyna, and includes a variety of references to the conflict.

In the near future the developer will soon be releasing a collection of Source 2 tools for community map creators to make their own maps. This will include features like improved lighting and character read as well as a physically based rendering system that creates realistic textures, materials, and reflections. It will also make real-world objects like doors and windows, simpler to implement. The update will be available sometime in the summer.
