This Fairtrade coffee is rich and chocolatey. It is made from organic beans that are grown at extreme elevations in the heartland of the Incas which is the Andes. It has smooth, rich taste with overtones similar to fine dark chocolate.
This is a complete bean coffee that can be used in any machine, whether it's a filter, manual or pump. A 227g pack typically makes 30 cups of coffee.
Organic
The chocolatey, nutty flavors of this coffee originate from its high altitude home in the Inca heartland. This Fairtrade Organic & Soil Association certified coffee is grown at 1,400 meters above sea level in the Chanchamayo province in Peru where Arabica Caturra, Typica and Pache varieties are grown according to Washed Process standards without the use of chemical fertilisers and pesticides.
These organic and Fair Trade coffee beans are carefully selected in the foothills the Andes and then expertly roasting to give them a full-bodied flavor. The rich, nutty flavors paired with the gorgeous dark chocolate overtones will surely get you up out of bed in the morning, and the fact that it's a Fairtrade coffee will ensure that the farmers in remote areas who cultivate it are well taken care of too.
