For a light stroller that can handle more rugged terrain, look for a three-wheeler. The Thule Shine is a great choice, and we've have named it the previous winner in this category. It's more expensive than our other choices but it's sturdy, and has a lot of features (car seat compatible! Dual cup holders! This makes it a worthwhile purchase. It can also be folded down to fit in the overhead bin of an airplane which makes it a great option for families who travel a lot.

The BOB Sport Utility

The BOB Sport Utility is the best stroller for parents who want to step off the beaten path and exercise. This stroller for jogging has pneumatic knobby tires that are perfect for trail runs and a hand brake that lets you control the downhills. It also has a state-of the-art suspension system, two-step folding, and a huge cargo basket. If you buy the right adapters you can use it with the child car seat.

The main drawback of this jogging stroller is its weight and size when folded. It weighs 25 pounds and folds down to 17,850 cubic inches, which is the average for this category. Its large footprint isn't ideal for tight turns or small trunk spaces, though it has a small handle near the rear of the basket that you can pull to collapse it into a compact, flat position.

This stroller is easy to maneuver, despite its size. The front wheel is equipped with a locking mechanism, which lets you switch between locked and normal mode. The handlebar can be adjusted to accommodate different heights of parents. It also has a large seat that reclines to almost flat, and it has an enormous vinyl peek-aboo window that is easy to open and close.

The Sport Utility also scored a 9 out of 10 for its exceptional quality. It has a thick aluminum frame, with tight connections, and no rough edges or weak stitching. It also has adjustable dampers, which help with the smoothness of the rolling.

Like the other BOB strollers in this review the Sport Utility has optional car seat adapters that allow you to use it with different infant car seats. In our tests, it took us about 5:24 minutes to put together the stroller from packing it up to being ready to run. The assembly was straightforward however you'll need a Philips screwdriver. The manual included is easy to follow and well-organized, but it's still an excellent idea to have one on hand just in case.

The Baby Trend Expedition

The design is crafted with safety, style and convenience in mind, this jogger comes with parents' tray with 2 cup holders, a covered storage and a swing-away tray for the child that includes two cup holders. The adjustable canopy with a peek-a-boo window and the extra-wide ergonomically-shaped handle are comfortable for both parents. The lockable front swivel wheel on the front can be locked to jog, but unlocked to stroll. all terrain stroller can hold essential travel items.

Consumer Reports' Strollers test program indicates that the Baby Trend Expedition Jogger is an excellent value for its price and has higher scores than most of its rivals across a variety of categories. The 5-point harness that folds, unfolds backrest, adjusting the backrest, engaging wheel brakes, and infant car seat installation and removal (only compatible models) are all included. It's designed with a simple one-handed recline, which is deep enough to allow naps. The canopy cover with an adjustable ratcheting isn't easy to use. It also takes almost 8 minutes to set up and the instructions are confusing with multiple languages mixed together and difficult-to-read illustrations.

The only negative about this stroller is that it doesn't have suspension, which means it's more prone to bumps than the other all-terrain strollers we've tested. This could make it uncomfortable for younger children, especially when their nap is about to start. It does have air-filled tires, but they don't have as much shock absorption as the rubber wheels you find on more expensive strollers.

This is an excellent option for those who don't exercise frequently but want to be able to move easily across grass or gravel without having to worry about curbs or other obstacles. It's also a great option for families with limited space as it folds down into an extremely compact size. It's lighter than a lot of the other joggers we've tested, and will fit in places where some full-size strollers cannot.

It's also easier to move and lift than the larger joggers we have tested. This is crucial if it's something you lift into and out of your trunk frequently or if you are always in motion.

Nipper Sport V4 is the best jogger on all terrain. This latest version of Out 'n' Around's 3-wheeled running stroller is specifically designed for jogging. It has large pneumatic alloy tyres with a 16-inch diameter capable of tackling even the most difficult tracks and paths. The Nipper is light and compact which makes it easy to transport and fold.

This pushchair has a number of characteristics that make it perfect for all kinds of terrain with front suspension as well as a brake for the handlebar. It has an adjustable quilted liner, as well as a multi-position recline, as well a 5-point safety harness that is padded and a hinged bar. It is also compatible with travel systems, so you can use it with the Cybex Maxi-Cosi or Be-Safe baby car seat.
