1950 Willys Jeepster L148 Six

I have a very nice early 1950, before the body style change, Willys Economy model Jeepster with the L148 six supported by the VIN plate. It was one of the last 6 made with the early body style. It came from the factory with the L148 six and the 11 inch mountain brake option. It did not come with an overdrive, but it has the 4.56 rear end gears. It does not have the hood emblems, glovebox door emblem, side steps, and it did not come with the grill “T” Bar. I had a spare “T” Bar so I added it to the vehicle. It did come with the front bumper bumperettes, and the hood spear. This one has undergone a frame off rebuild, the paint looks good, but it is not show quality. All the lights and gauges work, and it starts, runs, drives, and stops as it should. The top is new, the front and rear bumpers have been chromed, and the stainless trim pieces, for the most part, are good. It has new tires and W/O hubcaps and beauty rings. There was some minor rust, but the bad spots have been removed and new pieces welded in. The rust was very minor. It has a clean Missouri title in my name.
