Description

This 1948 CJ2A is restored with upgrade to 12v electrical system. Engine is original L134 “Go-Devil” inline-four with a 3-speed T-90 manual transmission paired with Dana axles.

This CJ2A is painted Navy Blue with black/gray trim. There are painting blemishes plus normal wear and tear. Tub off frame rebuild. Mounted spare tire on carrier. Transfer case (high and low) by Spicer. Retained original parts except where safety is concerned. (windshield safety glass, 12v electrical system, taillights, halogen headlights, new brake parts, roll bar).
Original parts are numerous and include driver, passenger seat and rear seat, frame, body tub, dash, fenders, grille, hood, windshield, tailgate, starter, engine and head, transmission, tool box lid, tailgate chains and covers, intake and exhaust manifolds and air filter.
Front, passenger and rear seats are black Cordova. All mounting hardware and top bows with full winterized top with doors by BESTOP, TIGER model.
The interior is unmodified. Instrumentation consists of four individually-mounted round gauges, plus a speedometer/odometer. Gauges for amperage, fuel level, oil pressure and coolant temperature. High beam indicator.
Tires are 700X16 non-directional tread military and will need replacement. An allowance for new tires has been provided in the asking price. Wheels are original 16X4.5” steel.

– 12v alternator, (low RPM cut in), fan belt, coil, ignition wires, electronic distributor, solenoid, ignition switch, headlight lamps and taillight bulbs, dash plates, wiring harness and blade fuse box.
– master cylinder, brake shoes and brake lines; all 4 wheel brake cylinders replaced.

-fuel system: fuel tank, sending unit, fuel pump, Carter WO carburetor (rebuilt by Warren in FL), fuel lines, and in-line fuel filter.

Comes with spare running L134 engine, mounted head, oil pump, motor plate and flywheel. Engine on a small wood pallet.
