This is a civilian 1945/46 CJ-2A. I was told by a local jeep expert that the frame was a “45” and body was a “46”. The title is clean…but somehow it was registered as a 1943 Willys CJ-2A. (which would be VERY rare 🙂
It was painted and modified by a previous owner to appear to be a military MB. It was used by a local VFW as a parade vehicle. It still has the original Go-Devil 134 engine and is mechanically sound. (has new gas tank, brakes/cylinders/master cylinder and fuel pump)
Up until last year it ran perfectly…however, i had issues which I am not sure if its bad plugs/wires / or fuel line (which was not upgraded and could be pulling air in) Based on the age of the vehicle..it it possible that its loosing compression and would need some more detailed work. It has been in the garage all winter and I simply have not had the time or resources to trouble shoot it further.
The machine gun mount is not included…but could be sold separately.
